Midway Christian Church VBS Class Becomes Annual Sponsors Of The Children's Village at Christian City

8/3/09 This summer the Vacation Bible School class at Midway Christian Church studied the importance of giving back and helping those less fortunate. They took up a collection each day in efforts to raise enough money to become Annual Sponsors for the children who live at he Children's Village at Christian City. Pastor's wife a Schwan and the VBS class presented a check for $365 to Heidi Becker of Christian City. According to Mrs. Schwan, "The kids are so excited to be able to give this gift. All week we have been learning about doing for others so this is a great experience for them." For as little as $30 a month or $365 a year, Annual Sponsorships help to provide food, clothing, medical care and a quality education for the abandoned and abused children who live in the cottages at Christian City.
