Chair-ity Event Raises Over $30,000 for The Children's Village

On December 2nd, community leaders including Congressman and Mrs. Lynn Westmoreland hosted the 4th Annual Children's Chair-ity Event. The event raised over $30,000 through Santa's Workshop Silent Auction, which included chairs hand-painted by local artisans as well as items donated by businesses in the community. The money benefits the children who live in the cottages at The Children's Village at Christian City. The event was a huge success with 15 guests who became annual child sponsors.

Christian City has been caring for abandoned and abused children in a family centered residential setting since 1965.
