Upon joining Westpark Toastmasters Spearman stated, “I didn’t think I was a bad speaker when I joined Westpark. What I discovered is that I could be a really good or even great speaker. I learned practical ways to make what I say to a group of people more interesting and more effective. I’ve also seen how important it is to others to received positive and constructive feedback in the form of speech evaluations. It’s exciting and personally rewarding to see people grow in their skills over time and to be a part of that improvement in their lives.”
