Wolves Pup Club Marks Season Opener
8/30/10 Football season kicked off at the University
of West Georgia on Saturday and the Wolves Pup Club was on hand
to take part in the festivities.
The organization was created to bring in disadvantaged youth
from West Georgia communities to enjoy each home game.
For the season opener against the Wingate Bulldogs, the Wolves’
special guests were the Carroll County Boys & Girls Club.
Each young fan in the club receives a complimentary game ticket,
hot dog, soft drink and souvenir, while enjoying the excitement
of seeing the Wolves in action.
Youth from Carroll County and surrounding areas are invited, as
well as dignitaries from those locales, to join in the fun.
UWG is grateful for all of the support it receives from the
community, and is pleased to be able to give back with many
programs that serve people throughout the region.
The Wolves are ready for another thrilling year of sports and
hope to see and hear all its great fans cheering for victory.
